Conducting risk assessment and medical support services to the PUIs placed in the various quarantine sites in SA. In addition, employees returning from outside the country were tested for Covid-19.
- Conduct risk assessment services on the quarantine sites with a specific focus on infection control and prevention.
- Implement infection control measures at the quarantine sites.
- Provide medical personnel to be stationed at the quarantine sites during the duration of the quarantine/isolation period.
- Conduct daily medical assessments on the PUIs to ensure all are in good health.
- Covid-19 testing for employees entering the border from neighbouring countries.
- Provide medical scripts, release letters and telephonic Doctor consultations to the PUIs.
- Ensure adequate medical support and infection control to limit the transfer of Covid-19.
